Biography
Jon Watts (born June 28, 1981) is an American film and television director and screenwriter from Fountain, Colorado. He worked directing commercials and music videos before his feature debut, the horror film Clown (2014), and the low-budget thriller Cop Car (2015) starring Kevin Bacon, which drew Marvel Studios' attention.
Watts directed all three MCU Spider-Man films starring Tom Holland — Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) — the last of which became one of the highest-grossing films in history. He went on to direct the heist comedy Wolfs (2024) starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt, and co-created the Disney+ series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew (2024) with Christopher Ford.
