Hand-verified from Wikipedia, 2026-08-27 — the awards list was specifically reconciled against Wikipedia's dedicated 'List of awards and nominations received by Denis Villeneuve' page after an initial summary incorrectly attributed Arrival's Best Sound Editing Oscar (actually won by sound editor Sylvain Bellemare, not Villeneuve) to him personally; that award was excluded here, and only wins verifiably credited to Villeneuve himself remain.
